Motif # 2 Jane's Bookmark Cross
Another small project done. This is Jane's Bookmark Cross adapted by Grace Tan. You can find the pattern here.
I did this in Lizbeth size 20 in Elderberry Jam. It's the first time I've used this thread and I love the subtle changes in color. If you look closely you can see that the center of the cross is not correct. Since it's not perfect, I may just have to keep this one for myself. Not sure what I did wrong. The pattern is pretty straightforward, but joining the two "L's" in the center was a little tricky.

ReplyDeleteOoh, your cross looks rich in Elderberry Jam. Just a guess, but you might not have cinched up your join tightly enough in the center. I minor, minor adjustment will give you the end-result you are looking for. Don't despair!
